Pure Platinum is a special event variety band based in Tallahassee Florida. We provide live music for all
types of corporate events, wedding receptions, birthdays, bar/bat mitzvah’s and private parties. You name it and we
can provide the appropriate music. Our approach to special events is multi-faceted and designed to be as trouble free for
our client as possible.
With Pure Platinum, your choices are as varied as the music. Our core band is 5
pieces but we can provide solo piano, solo acoustic guitar, piano/vocal duo, jazz trio, jazz trio with vocals, brass section,
all the way to a complete 17 piece swing band.
Each of our events begin with input from our client to determine the type of event
and the date, time and location. At this time, we also discuss the musical format, number of guests, and attire for the band.
Our dress can be anything from tuxedo’s to casual depending on the clients preferences. Based upon this input, we create
an outline of music appropriate to the venue and determine sound, staging and lighting requirements. This outline is created
based on the type of event, the ages of the attendees and client preferences. This outline merely serves as a guide because
even the best scheduled and planned events often do not proceed as planned. Also, we have the experience and song knowledge
to change the music during the performance if it becomes necessary to do so. If you need easy listening background music during
the dinner hour and dance music later, no problem. If you want a special song or songs for the special dances at your wedding
reception, no problem. If you need someone to announce the guests at a reception, no problem. If you need a wireless microphone,
no problem. If you want rock and roll dance music all night, no problem. 50’s and 60’s, no problem. 30’s
and 40’s, no problem. Nothing is musically out of reach. If you can dream it, we can do it. And do it right.
